Two phone interviews a week

Here’s a quick and brief update:

  • I continue to conduct interviews, about two phone interviews a week, but have received no job offers.
  • The medical association in Maryland said I was one of two candidates, but ended up offering the other candidate the job.
  • I launched a new website for my dad’s company on Thursday. You’ll find it here. If was fun to work on and will enhance my portfolio.
  • Had a two-hour interview with Cotton today here in Raleigh. Ruth Coble, a former neighbor and family friend gave me this lead. The interview went well.
  • I travel to New York next week. On Monday, my interview will be with Taconic Farms in Germantown. On Tuesday, it will be with NDSS in NYC. I’ll be catching up with long-time friends Jenny Runyon and Matt Bonin while there.

That’s about it. In the meantime, my sand volleyball team finished third in the tournament, I went to Elon’s homecoming and had a blast (it was the chapter’s 10-year anniversary), and will soon begin a few other freelance web development projects for friends.
