I am honestly surprised how NorthWest Airlines managed to get me and my luggage to Indianapolis on time despite a signifigant network outage. I wonder if I was just lucky. Did their outage even make the news? Or was this business as usual?

Paperless Mayhem
There are more than 50 people behind me and the internet is still down. Only three people came forward when asked if they have a paper receipt. Everyone else is paperless, including yours truely. I appear to be the only one with internet accesses but it does me no good.
Reagan’s Internet Crashed
The internet at Reagan National Airport went down while I was checking in. I swiped my passport, entered my destination, and then everything went down. In five minutes, the line of customers grew from three to 27. Our dependancy on the internet grows everyday. If you aren’t connected, you aren’t going anywhere.
