When we returned home from work yesterday, we were saddened to find that the tree in our front yard had split in two. We’re rather puzzled on how it happened as there was neither a storm or heavy winds. We really liked this tree and are going to miss the privacy it offered us.

Genealogy database now at 14,000 relatives
After entering some census records to my genealogy database this weekend, I decided it was time to backup my database. To my surprise, I have entered exactly 14,000 relatives into my family tree.
